Health Clinics (Medical, Dental, & Vision)
Medical Clinic:
From Mon-Fri, from 9am-4pm, we set up a traveling medical clinic in the villages.
Our patients come with aches and pains from working as farmers. For many, this will be their first time with a physician. A medical team of a doctor, local nursing student/translator and an acting pharmacist provide care to hundreds of people who line up for service. Donated medicine is provided to the villagers and setting up medical clinics is one of the most rewarding aspects of our trip.

Dental Clinic:
It's funny how everyone lines up to be seen by a doctor but when it comes to dentists, there's a lot of fear. When the villagers see the display of dental instruments, no one wants to get in line until that one brave soul who steps up to the plate, gets a tooth pulled,....with no pain, sigh of relief, and soon after, a line starts to form. Extractions and simple fillings (with the use of portable dental unit) are provided. Dental supplies are generally collected in the states as donations and brought over to India. Hundreds line up and for many, their first dental visit.

Vision Clinic:
A vision clinic is set up in the villages along with the medical team to distribute reading glasses. Because so many are in need of reading glasses, and due to lack of time, we are only able to give out reading glasses. We make prior arrangements to purchase reading glasses to take over to India. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone's face light up when they realize they can see!
