Education: Bob Robinson Memorial SDA School
The Bob Robinson Memorial SDA School (K-12 boarding school) was established in 2007 to provide quality Christian education to children from poor rural villages. Children with the worst economic and social disposition of surrounding villages are selected and sponsored to attend the school.
Currently, there are more than 500 students enrolled, all individually sponsored by foreigners like you and me. The thirteen acre campus is home to K-12 academic building, girls and boys dormitory, cafeteria, faculty housing, and a chapel. The goal is to grow the enrollment to 1500 hundred students, eventually building a college campus. One of the unique aspects of the school is sustainability. The administration is utilizing the land to plant fruit trees and vegetables in order to provide not only a work study program but also to feed the children. In addition, the goal is to attract day students whose tuition will offset the operation costs.
